Terms of Use

Please read these terms and conditions carefully, before making any booking as they contain important information about your rights and obligations. By clicking on the "submit" button at the bottom of the booking form, you agree to be legally bound by them as they may be modified from time to time, and posted on our website. Whether the booking is made by telephone, email or fax, it is subject to, and the client accepts, LET´S GO TRANSFERS booking terms and conditions. These are available on our website or, on request, by email or phone.
LET´S GO TRANSFERS principal office address is: Av. Dos Descobrimentos Nr 43 Loja D, 8600-645 Lagos, Portugal.
LET´S GO TRANSFERSis a Portuguese-registered company and is therefore subject to Portuguese laws and those of the EEC, where applicable. It is also licensed by the Tourism of Portugal (nr 4263).

1. GENERAL CONDITONS
a) LET´S GO TRANSFERS has the right to refuse any booking placed by you. When a transfer booking is made from our webpage, an automatic reply/confirmation is sent to you with all the information you need to know when you arrive at your destination airport. The arrival information can also be found on our websites.
If your booking has not been accepted, you will be advised by e mail within 24 hours from the time the booking is sent. Bookings for SHUTTLE transfers made less than 72 hours (in the case of PRIVATE transfers 48 hours) before arrival time in resort are only deemed accepted when, in addition to the automatic reply, a personal confirmation email is received by you from our reservations controller.
b) The destination and pickup addresses on your confirmation / ticket are the address to which you will be delivered and later picked up.
c) Where two or more people are included on the same booking, the person making and/or purchasing the booking shall be deemed to do on the basis that he/she acts as an agent for all members of the party and accepts these booking conditions on behalf of each member of the party.
d) The make, model and type of vehicle used for LET´S GO TRANSFERS may vary from those shown on the website.

2. BOOKING AMENDMENTS
a) We make no charge for amendments to your booking if made at least 4 days before the date of travel. The new details must be sent in writing, by either email or fax, directly to theLET´S GO TRANSFERS office.
b) Amendments made less than 4 days before the travel date are subject to availability and will incur a charge of 12 EUR.
c) If an amendment leads to an increase in price, this difference must be paid at the time of making the request.
d) All amendments than not increase the price there is no extra cost.

3. PRICING
There is a 20% surcharge for all collections between 21:00 and 06:00.
The price of any service is the price displayed on our website at the date and time of your order. We may change the price of any service on our website before a booking is made. Although we try to ensure the prices displayed on our website are accurate, the price on your booking will need to be validated by us as part of the acceptance procedure. We will inform you if a service's correct price is higher than stated on your booking form, giving you the opportunity to cancel the booking and decide whether or not to rebook at the correct price. In the case of pre-payment, if the correct price is higher, we will refund the full amount paid if you decide not to go ahead with the booking.

4. PAYMENT CONDITIONS
a) Private Transfers:
In Algarve, under certain conditions, prepayment is required when a booking is made. Payment can be made by credit card or bank transference, in advance, please also see "Pre-Payment Conditions" below.
b) Shuttlebus Transfers
All SHUTTLEBUS transfers must be prepaid by credit or debit card.

5. PREPAYMENT
If payment is made in advance the following conditions, in addition to the General Conditions, apply.
a) In the case of payment by credit/debit cards, you are legally bound to provide, for the purpose of purchasing the service, correct personal information and only your own credit/debit card details which has sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of the service(s). LET´S GO TRANSFERS reserves the right to validate your credit/debit card details before providing you with the service. If validation cannot be obtained you will be advised, as soon as possible, to the email address given by you, and depending on your destination and the payment options available for that destination, offered the possibility of making payment in euro cash to the LET´S GO TRANSFERS representative or driver, before commencing the service. We reserve the right to not perform the service if said payment is not made.
b) In the case of payment by bank transfer, this must be done at least 10 working days before the date of the service and a copy of the bank confirmation, showing the transfer details must be received by us by mail before the service takes place.
c) Once payment has been validated, you will receive by email, a confirmation of payment. This confirmation is your ticket and must be produced to the LET´S GO TRANSFERS representative or driver for BOTH the arrival and departure journeys.
d) Payment is strictly non-refundable except in circumstances where LET´S GO TRANSFERS, due to causes beyond its control, cancels or, at its absolute discretion, agrees to cancel the booking.
e) In the case of missed flights or flight delays forcing you to miss your transfer, LET´S GO TRANSFERS will require you to fill in a declaration for your travel insurance for the cost of your new transfer. The extra charge can and may be waived at the absolute discretion of LET´S GO TRANSFERS.

6. CANCELLATIONS
a) Customers who wish to cancel their booking, should do so by recorded delivery letter or email quoting the booking reference, lead passenger name and date of the first service. The booking will be deemed cancelled on the date that LET´S GO TRANSFERS receives the letter or email.
b) Cancellations made up to 7 days before the date of the first transfer will be refunded in full except for an administration charge of 15 EUR.
c) In the case of a cancellation being made less than 7 days before the date of the first transfer, there is no refund.
d) Upon cancellation, the Customer will be given a cancellation reference number. This reference number must be quoted on any future correspondence with LET´S GO TRANSFERS.

7. MISCELLANEOUS CONDITIONS
a) Delays/Missed Flights: in the case of missed flights forcing you to miss your transfer, LET´S GO TRANSFERS must be informed by telephone/fax/email, as soon as you are aware of your situation so LET´S GO TRANSFERS can try and make alternative arrangements. The arrangement of alternative transport is entirely at the discretion of LET´S GO TRANSFERS and may be subject to an administration charge of which you will be advised should this be the case.
b) Luggage: Customers are limited to a maximum of TWO ITEMS OF NORMAL LUGGAGE ONLY (ie 1 suitcase and 1 piece of hand luggage) per person. LET´S GO TRANSFERS must be informed of any extra luggage at the time the booking is made, for which there could be a supplement payable - this includes sports equipment, wheelchairs, etc. In the event of undeclared excess luggage, extra charges will be made, at our absolute discretion (payable prior to transportation) or we reserve the right to refuse to transport the items. All luggageMUST be clearly labelled with the owner's name and destination address.
c) Wheelchairs: Vehicles used for the SHUTTLE SERVICE do NOT have ramps for wheelchairs and are not adapted for disabled use. All passengers MUST be able to climb the steps of the bus (n.b. some vehicles may be of the double-decker type and include some interior steps).
d) Children: The EU directive 2003/20/EC states that children must use an appropriate child seat until they reach 12 years of age or until they reach a height of 135 cm.
On PRIVATE transfers all children and infants count towards the occupancy of the vehicle, regardless of age and therefore should be included in the total number of passengers at the time of booking.
e) Behaviour: LET´S GO TRANSFERS reserves the right (and delegates to its drivers and appointed agents the right) to refuse to carry any person who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs and/or whose behaviour is considered to pose a threat to the driver, the vehicle or the other passenger(s).
Neither the consumption of alcohol nor smoking is permitted on any of our vehicles.
f) Tolls / Motorway. All transfers are done using the motorway. However, short distances are much quicker using the national road.
g) Performance:
i) LET´S GO TRANSFERS will use every reasonable means to ensure your vehicle(s) collects you at your collection point at the time stated in your confirmation, and that it reaches its destination on time. However, LET´S GO TRANSFERS accepts no liability whatsoever in the event of any delay due to causes beyond its control.
ii) Whilst LET´S GO TRANSFERS will do their utmost to reduce any delay as much as possible, it should be understood that during the peak summer season and weekends there may be delays incurred before your transport is available.
iii) Vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third party claims, as required under local law. However, whilst every care is always taken, customers' property is carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage. It is the passenger's own responsibility to check their own travel insurance.
iv) Transfers by shared SHUTTLE vehicles will only go to destinations which are Tourist Board registered properties, unless previously agreed with LET´S GO TRANSFERS.
v) When SHUTTLE BUS clients book this kind of service they understand that they may have a wait of up to 1 hour from the time they reach our representative and a maximum of 15 stops before reaching their drop-off point. The collection time for the journey to the airport can be up to about 6 hours before flight departure time.
vi) LET´S GO TRANSFERS will accept no liability for any difficulty or service failure if clients, at the time of their travel, do not have with them the appropriate travel documents accrediting their reservation and outlining the arrival and departure procedures. LET´S GO TRANSFERS will not agree to any refund or compensation claims resulting from any service failure if clients do not adhere to the procedures stated.
vii) The LET´S GO TRANSFERS nominated local supplier will endeavor to carry the passenger(s) with the minimum discomfort and inconvenience to his/her destination as shown on the confirmation document. However circumstances beyond our control may prevent the achievement of this responsibility. The following are examples of circumstances which are not within our control:

    • accidents causing delays to the vehicle
    • exceptional or severe weather conditions
    • compliance with requests of the police
    • deaths and accidents on the road
    • vandalism and terrorism
    • unforeseen traffic delays
    • industrial action by third parties
    • problems caused by other customers
    • other circumstances affecting passenger safety
    • properties that are not accessible to the type of service booked

viii) In very rare cases, the nominated local supplier may drop off or collect passengers from a different point other than the accommodation address if the carriage to the exact specified accommodation may cause unreasonable delays or inconvenience to other passengers.
ix) LET´S GO TRANSFERS shall only be liable for any reasonable and foreseeable consequential losses arising directly out of a breach in contract. In such cases our liability shall be limited to a maximum of 75€ per booking.
x) LET´S GO TRANSFERS reserves the right at any time to assign any part of this Agreement (or all of it) to any associated or subsidiary company or to any third party.
xi) If the nominated supplier was to fail, due to any reasonable circumstances within its control, to deliver its passengers to their confirmed destination, LET´S GO TRANSFERS endeavor to provide suitable replacement transport such as another coach, private car, taxi etc. Any reimbursement made by LET´S GO TRANSFERS for the costs of an alternative means of transport incurred by the passenger to get to their ticketed destination shall be no more than the cost of getting to that destination by taxi.

8. CUSTOMER LIABILITY:
a) It is the customer's obligation to report any difficulties with the services that LET´S GO TRANSFERS provides, in the shortest practicable time in order for us to be given a fair opportunity to rectify any problems as quickly as possible.
b) It is the customer's obligation to do all in his/her power to mitigate any loss. If the transport is more than 10 minutes late in arriving, it is the customer's responsibility to advise the LET´S GO TRANSFERS representative by telephone so the appropriate measures can be taken.
c) If the client does not contact the LET´S GO TRANSFERS representative as stipulated, we accept no responsibility for extra costs incurred by the client, for example, in the case of MISSED FLIGHTS, TRANSPORT COSTS etc.
d) LET´S GO TRANSFERS will not be liable for any extra cost incurred by customers in getting to their destination if they have not contacted our representative by telephone to advise them of any problem when it arises. There is a 24 hour emergency number sent with the confirmation details. If customers do not receive this emergency number, it is their obligation to contact LET´S GO TRANSFERS in advance and request it.
These Conditions of Carriage and any carriage which we agree to provide you with (in respect of yourself and/or your Baggage) shall be governed by Spanish laws, and any dispute between you and LET´S GO TRANSFERS concerning or arising out of such carriage in any way whatsoever, shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Palma de Mallorca (Spain). These terms and conditions replace all other terms and conditions previously applicable to the use of our web site and/or sale of service.

IN THE UNLIKELY CASE OF A COMPLAINT
LET´S GO TRANSFERS takes all customer matters very seriously so if you are not satisfied with any part of the service supplied, please contact us within 28 days of the date of the transfer so we can investigate any issues. All feedback must be made in writing – no verbal statements can be accepted. We try to resolve any complaints in writing within 28 days.
